$35 for 2 images, $5 for one additional image

Definition: Must be original work, no Giclée reproductions of original works, in the following categories: Relief Sculpture (wall only); Collage can incorporate: Painting, Works on Paper, Photography, Mixed Media, Small Objects, Fiber Art, Digital. Video art will not be accepted.

SPECIFICATIONS:

• Maximum size for 2-D wall works and wall hanging sculpture INCLUDING frame: 36” height, 30” width, 4” depth (no exceptions). Wall sculpture weight limit: 18 lbs. Works over the maximum size will be disqualified
• No ceiling hung artworks will be accepted.
• No saw tooth hangers. All works must be wired to gallery standards and must meet professional presentation standards as interpreted by the NAWA Exhibition Committee. The Beamesderfer Gallery uses a ceiling rail system with suspended wires and hooks. Relief sculpture must use D-rings or horizontal wires.
• Plexiglass required for all works on paper. Exception: pastels can be framed in glass.
• Accepted works cannot be substituted and must be available for the duration of the exhibition.
• ALL WORKS MUST BE FOR SALE. Price, title, dimensions of entered work cannot be changed.
• Graphic violence and/or lewd sexual content prohibited. Nudes are acceptable at the discretion of the committee.
• Work will not be hung if it is damaged in transit. We will notify you immediately if your work arrives damaged.
• Unframed canvas art work must have the sides painted (not left white).
• NAWA reserves the right to refuse work not professionally presented.

ENTERING YOUR IMAGES

• Entry form must be filled out in its entirety. List sizes up to the nearest inch. Size of work is framed size. Works over maximum size will be disqualified. Submitted images must not include matting or frame. Crop the photos to include only the artwork. Be sure your images are right-side-up. Images should be of good quality and no larger than 2MB, 1100 pixels on the longest side at 72 dpi. Images should be in JPEG format.

SALES:

• NAWA receives 15% commission, Beamesderfer Gallery receives 15% on all sales. Artist will receive 70%
• Price of entered work cannot be changed

DELIVERY/SHIPPING

• Artists agree to assume all shipping expenses related to exhibition. Shipped work MUST include a prepaid bar-coded return shipping label (UPS or FEDEX only– NO COUNTER LABELS, no US Postal Service).
• NO STYROFOAM PACKING PEANUTS. Your work will be returned if it contains packing peanuts. Please inform your shipper if you have it packed professionally. Ship in sturdy, reusable cartons with adequate packing materials. Please use bubble wrap as opposed to air bags which tend to deflate at the end of the exhibition. Please do not use oversized boxes for artwork. We cannot store them.
• Please tape return shipping label, along with the exhibition artwork ID label and a one-page resume, to the back of your artwork.
• Please mark the name of the exhibition on the outside of the box: NAWA/To the Next Level.
• Accepted artwork may be hand delivered OR shipped – and MUST arrive at the Beamesderfer Gallery (6 North Second Avenue, Highland Park, NJ, 08904) between August 29 – September 3, 2022,10am-4pm.
• After the show closes, artists may pick up hand-delivered work Mon.-Wed., November 7-9, 10am-4pm.
