I have always felt connected to water. As I ventured away from where I grew up on the Florida coast, I realised all water has this effect on me. Oceans, lakes, rivers…it all intrigues me. I also love how no two shades of water, blue or green, are the same. So much life is hidden underneath. But as much as we cannot live without water, it can also be scary at times. Sometimes mean and choppy and cold looking. Other times mirrored and glassy and calming. This body of work is influenced by all the waters I have seen firsthand along with all the ones I hope to see in my future.
