The National Association of Women Artists present
Online Summer Small Works Exhibit 2026
An Online Exhibition of Women Fine Artists
July 1 – July 31, 2026
Online Artist Talk, Thursday, July 9, 2026, 5-6pm
NAWA proudly presents the 2026 Online Summer Small Works Exhibit, a recurring juried showcase of small-format works featuring Signature Members and selected non-member artists. Thoughtfully crafted in studious detail, these small works measuring 15 inches in either direction hold a wealth of fascinating detail.
Small Works exhibitions are celebrated for the wide use of material utilized and the impact made in small size. While not thematic in focus, these exhibitions are visually powerful, providing collectors access to a noteworthy and unique body of work.
About NAWA
The National Association of Women Artists (NAWA), founded in 1889, stands as the first professional women’s organization established in the United States.
Five pioneering women sought to address the lack of opportunities for women artists. Anita C. Ashley, Adele Francis Bedell, Elizabeth S. Cheever, Grace Fitz-Randolph, and Edith Mitchill Prellwitz spearheaded a vital alternative to the restrictions of the day, providing a supportive network and avenues for exhibition.
Current Signature Members are juried into NAWA for a lifetime membership, once accepted.
