I like my art to vibrate, so use colors opposite each other on the color wheel or else light vs. dark. My images, though abstract, are inspired by Nature. Flash might be Lightning over water. Fire and Ice, are in direct contrast to each other as elements, and I have used hot red and cold blues to reflect this.
