This plein air artwork was completed on a breezy late summer day. I was accompanied by a friend who knew the owner of this northern Maryland farm, who welcomed those who recorded the landscape in art. The painting captures that landscape, which was full of movement from the constant breeze that enveloped the area, shifting color at a moment’s notice. This painting is a dialogue of color and light.
