Magpies are seasonal residents at our farm in SW Colorado. They are widely considered to be very intelligent and close observation, proves this to be true. They are opportunistic and clever food gatherers.
“Curiosity” was created to highlight the magpie, known for its intelligence and curiosity, and to symbolize communication and connection.
In order to capture the serene beauty of nature through the lens of a striking magpie, I placed him perching gracefully on a branch. The bird’s vibrant blue and white plumage contrast beautifully against the muted background. Delicate branches add a touch of elegance, and create a harmonious balance between the subject and its environment.
