This is part of a series I did of interiors. This is a stark room, waiting for someone, lonely, but still able to have the pleasure of a cup of tea and a piece of cake.
The light is strong as the table is near a window, the only warmth in the room.
I work with different medias on gessoed paper, which is adhered to canvas
