Helping Hand

I wanted to create a dialog with nature. Working on a wood panel I started to draw an outline of the hand but realized the unpainted wood would be the flesh tone and added shadows for dimension. I painted the bird with colorful watercolors and finished with flat white acrylic for a contemporary effect.
