Through the Hollow Wood
Working with different color layers, when creating my monotypes (the substrate for this piece) results in interesting colors and abstract patterns on the stencils and masks I may use in the process. I often use them as college elements in the final artwork to add greater depth and visual effects.
The chair is a frequent motif in my work. I use it as a metaphor for our memories and the stories we tell ourselves.
