Another Brick in the Wall

In this interpretation of the Western Wall in Jerusalem, I sought to capture not the structure itself, but the emotional and spiritual resonance it inspired in me when I visited in 2023. I was moved by and have tried to express the collective weight of memory, faith, and longing pressed into stone. The textured layers of paint evoke the passage of time and the countless hands that have touched these ancient blocks, leaving behind silent prayers and fragments of hope. The interplay of color and form mirrors the diversity of humanity that gathers here — vibrant, fractured, yet unified by a shared yearning for peace and connection.
