Beverly McCarter
My art has always been a window into the human condition—figurative forms that whisper stories of emotion, transition, and connection. With my M.F.A. in Painting and M.S. in Counseling Psychology, I use color, brushstrokes, light, and perspective to reveal our inner worlds. During my pivot into research and 3D virtual environments, I designed spaces that drew people in, blending aesthetics with technology to study human interactions. Now, as I return to painting, I’m expanding my exploration to include the spaces around us – the delicate interplay of life within larger environments and the artifacts we place there, infusing everyday interactions with a sense of enduring connection and sense of place.
