I had recently completed an edition of 20 works on paper that combined collagraph, monoprinting, linocut, and collage. The monoprints I created for this became the inspiration for new monoprints that I am collaging onto canvas for a new series of works. Combining newer techniques with more familiar ones have created “Supernova” explosions of creative concepts in my brain, which then expand into my studio with surprising and spontaneous results.
