Shadows and refracted light always are always interesting to me. Both then themselves to exploring relationships between light and the curious things glass vessels do to optics.
In this case, having created a beautiful loaf of bread with charred edges, casting lovely shadow on a tea towel, and the olive oil container morphing the image seen with in it inspired this work.
