My paintings develop intuitively as a fusion of my mind, heart and hand at any particular time. Beginning without a preconceived plan, and while accessing a mood or memory in my mind’s eye, I explore the limitless possibilities of abstraction. While applying many layers of paint, eventually a movement of floating, amorphous shapes evolves. Surprises occur. Each work is a unique set of discoveries and an exploration unto itself.
