Approaching Storm, Marina Day’s End

Watercolor

Size: 9 x 12

This was an Adirondacks plein air location, on Lake Champlain as a storm approached at the of the day. Boats rushed in and then tied up tight and sudden quiet tension, bracing for the storm. I worked to get it done and dismantle the easel before the first drop of rain. Stormy times we are living in now and when this was painted not long ago.
