The vintage look of the d’Orsay Train Station converted to the Musee d’Orsay in Paris inspired the gold leaf vintage treatment of the image. The image is printed on translucent vellum and gilded with 24kt gold leaf. Varnish adds an additional finish to create transparency to the piece as well as protection from the environment.
