I am a contemporary, representational artist based in the southeastern US, working in watercolor, printmaking, and mixed-media. I am particularly fascinated by watercolor’s luminous quality, savoring its unpredictable nature as both challenging and rewarding. Most recently, I have begun integrating collage with watercolor into my practice. The underlying theme of my work: the unnoticed, quiet legacy left to us by those who came before. Most recently, the focus of my work has been to shine a spotlight on the often overlooked narratives of the women who came before us, aiming to shed light on their quiet yet significant contributions to society. Through my art, I wish to amplify the voices of the unseen, inviting viewers to contemplate the profound resonance of untold stories and unnoticed legacies.
