As a woman artist, I have many layers – deep and contemplative, enthusiastic and free, humorous, enamored of color and shimmer, deeply caring, and marveling at life. This painting captures all of those feelings and more. As a child I loved the Arabian Nights, the exoticism of Asia, the stars in the heavens, and anything surrounding water. This pieces comes as close to anything I’ve done to describe my inner feminine life force.
