Figures and vessels have similarities and intuitively tend to appear abstractly and subtly in sketches and paintings. The basis of “Then There Were Five” is a mix of intuitive movement countered with the mindful placement of marks and shapes. My daily habit of drawing creates a starting point, which lends to primarily drawing with paint using a neutral and serene palette.
