The natural world has always been the driving force behind my creative work. Each piece is an attempt to express the energies and rhythms of the life around us. These are the sparks that tart the process. I frequently use muted colors – brown, black and grey to emphasize the repeated patterns and textures in nature. My paintings are created working wet on wet using a palette knife. My textured stoneware sculptures re left natural t let the beauty of the materials enrich the work.
