B/W silver photograph on fiber with inks

While enjoying some street photography on Ninenzaka Walkway, Kyoto, Japan, a lovely, young woman in full Geisha regalia ran past me at the speed of light. With no time to prepare, I instinctively snapped a photo. Then, as if an apparition, she was gone. Later, I found her facial expression curious. Contemplative? Reflective? Amused? This black and white silver image is printed on archival fiber paper and hand-colored with Marshall inks. The custom frame is inspired by Japanese frames. It has a silk-wrapped matt inner frame bordered by a mahogany liner frame, and a mahogany-toned wooden outer frame.
