The forest is my sanctuary, a place where I can slow down and appreciate Nature’s gifts—serenity, solace, and healing. It’s where I reconnect with a sense of childlike awe and collective bonding to its physical, mental, and spiritual riches of light and connectivity. My works capture the dappled light and life up close and personal, creating a symbiotic relationship with the past and present. The subjects of lichen, moss, algae, and insects showcase the symbiotic relationship with trees in textural detail and harmonizing colors found beneath the trees and offer observations of symbiotic life, hope, and light of our collective future.
