I often surprise myself by making art that comes from remembering and expressing my own internal dialog. Experiencing times and places of intense activity, clutter, even chaos, I observe my thoughts seeking the quiet comfort and ease of greater spaciousness. For me this is the manner in which tension resolves as it unwinds and dissipates into the vastness of our inner landscapes, the places we visit when we close our eyes.
