My love of nature is what I capture in my oil paintings and pastels. Nature is so expressive of emotions. My sense and use of color is meant to bring all who view my work into the painting feeling my mood . The drama of sunsets and shadows of trees on a field or the overwhelming sensation as waves crash under and over themselves and the rocky coast line. Amazing! My background as a textile designer influences what I see in patterns in bark of trees or foam of surf or random bursts of clouds. Unbelievable !
