Entanglements is a plein air painting of cypress trees on the rocky cliffs overlooking the blustering sea at Pescadero Point in Pebble Beach, California. The trees are entwined with one another as if in a comforting embrace, shaped by the wind coming off the water. It is late afternoon and the sun is slowly setting, shining a soft, warm light, casting shadows on the land and reflections on the sea.
