ELIGIBILITY: NAWA Members, Associate Members and NAWA Graduating Student Members

Thursday, June 23, 2022: Online Reception and Awards from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm

AWARDS:
First Place, Second Place, Third Place, Honorable Mention

Small in scale only. Value is not dependent on size, but in the essence and intricacy of the creation. This exhibition invites you to share your creativity and showcase the strength of your small works.

Submissions begin April 15, 2022
Deadline for Submissions May 20, 2022
Notification of Acceptances May 26, 2022
Exhibition Opens June 15, 2022
Reception (Online –  Details to Follow) June 23, 2022
Exhibit Ends July 31, 2022

GUIDELINES:
Definition: Must be original work, no Giclée, in classically defined fine art categories: Oil, Acrylic, Wax, Photography, Mixed Media, Collage, Sculpture, Printmaking, Pastels, Watercolors, Mosaics, Ceramics, Fiber Arts. (Digitally created must be recognized as such in the medium/description.)Video art not accepted.

In order to quality for jurying for NAWA exhibitions, always make sure you adhere to the following:
*Do not enter an artwork that has been accepted for another National NAWA exhibition.
 *You MAY include an artwork in the Annual exhibition if it has been in another NAWA show, but please do not enter it, if it won an award in a previous National NAWA exhibit.
*Do your best to enter works within the stated theme of the exhibit.

Commission

Work must be for sale; artist receives 70%; NAWA receives 30% commission.

JPEGS

Make sure your images are 1100 pixels @ 72 dpi on longest side, in JPG format, RGB color space

Work should be no larger than 15 inches on its longest side and no more than 5 inches deep.
The artwork image file itself must be labeled. Files not labeled or improperly labeled will not be considered.

DETAILS:
Please describe materials used and technique as well as the process used. IE: Encaustic, acrylic, oil, wax, etc., F-Stop, shutter speed, analog, digital, negative, slide, RAW, JPEG,  canvas, metal, wood…

INSPIRATION/INTENT

Please briefly describe your thoughts or the intent of your subject for each image that you have submitted. It may be used for PR!

ENTRY FEE:
Submissions: $35 for 2 images, $5 for one additional image. (Maximum 3 images.)
